Jack Nicklaus has put his signature on the Cancun-Riviera Maya golf landscape with The Club at Moon Palace. This 7,165 yard, par-72, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is a true championship golf course that surpasses even the highest standards set by Palace Resorts. With four sets of tees, The Golf Club at Moon Palace will be enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels, as this fantastic layout requires the golfer to navigate not only through the native Mayan vegetation, but also numerous natural wetland waste bunkers that have been strategically placed. Among the notable holes, No.17 is a 141-yard par-3, that plays to an island green. There is no place to bail out, it is either on the green or in the drink. Definitely a hole where you want to step up and hit that shot that you have always dreamed of!
Transportation is available for those clients staying at any of our Palace Resorts or anywhere in Cancun / Riviera Maya for only $20.00 usd per person. Our deluxe air conditioned vans can seat up to 10 golfers and their clubs comfortably. Just let us know when you want to play and we will arrange your transportation.
The Golf Club at the Moon Palace is an all-inclusive Golf Club. That means all your food and beverages are included in the green fee. Our beverage cart is stocked with sandwiches, chips, water, soft drinks and beer.

Recognized as one of the top courses in the world, Playacar Golf Course is as challenging as it is beautiful. Renowned architect Robert Van Hagge designed the 18-hole, par 72 course. Its inspired setting is carved through dense Mayan jungle, awarding golfers with a competitive course surrounded by lush foliage and aquamarine waters.
The club house includes a fully-staffed pro-shop, men's and women's lockers, and the 19th Hole Grill Restaurant. Also included at Playacar Golf Club is a practice area, driving range, and a large putting green complete with chipping and pitching areas as well as a green side sand bunker.
In keeping with the tradition of Palace Resorts, any food and/or beverage consumed at the golf course by our guests is included in the green fee. That includes items from our two beverage carts that are constantly making the rounds on the golf course, as well as food and beverage in the 19th hole after your round has finished. The beverage carts are stocked with sandwiches, chips, water, soft drinks and beer, and in the 19th Hole our grill menu includes sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc., as well as all of your favorite alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
